Because the account is the product. An email address enables a mailing list, a usage limit, and an upgrade prompt. None of that makes the invoice better — it just makes it harder to leave.
WeQuotation has no account system at all. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to cancel, and no password to forget.
What happens to your data
Everything you type stays in your browser's memory for the length of the session. Your business details, your customer's details, your line items, and any logo or signature you upload are processed locally and are not transmitted to a server. There is no database holding your invoices, which is the most reliable form of data protection available.
The practical trade-off: nothing is saved between visits. Download the PDF before you close the tab, and keep your own copy.
